Goosebumps & crankiness: Blame the food!

Image
I always describe myself as a moody person. I can be extremely happy in one moment, and super depressed later. Recently, I subscribed to few health feeds, and came across some very interesting articles. Next time you're angry, think about the  food choices you made today.  ( At least I know what to blame next time :P) Your favorite cup of coffee is controlling your mood ? (Well, I just named my blog 'Coffee & Karma and now it has a DEEPER meaning ;) )  Tomatoes , which have excellent health benefits, can make you angry too?  Even wheat & diary products (if not digested properly) can affect the brain function.   It's interesting that it takes  20 minutes for your brain to know you're overeating ? (Yes, that long!!) Photo Courtesy:  Blog Sidenote: I recently got to know about this new cool website http://healthifyme.com/ . If you really really want to eat healthy and loose/gain weight, aaaand you're fond of Indian food, this is the best websit

I am in the process of changing the name of the blog so it can represent this space a lot more. Suggestions? PS: In the next few days, you might see the title changing often till I finalize... :) Archives: Virtual Variables  (The tendency to overcomplicate things by assuming there are a lot of variables present when they aren't) Coffee & Karma (Coffee represents mood swings, conversations & everyday life. Buttons & Scissors

It's interesting when you are looking for answers, you'll find them knocking your door in the most unexpected form. I must say the game inspired me, and helped me pacify as I was surrounded by endless questions about future. It taught me to not worry about consequences yet have a small plan for future without losing the focus from present.  When you start with the game, the motive is to draw horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines on same buttons (any number), and a scissor will run over them to clear them out.   While doing this, it may look kind of impossible to get all of them cleared out because the blue ones are really scattered or stuck between yellow ones and there is no way we can get them out anyway. But, if you focus on the ones you are crossing out, and keep in mind that you cannot cross 3 pink buttons and leave 1 pink button alone because you need to have at least pair of 2 to draw a line and cross them out.  Just this small strategy, and slowly

That time of day when the sun hasn’t come up yet, but you can already feel it coming. It’s an elusive warmth, like a subtle promise whispered in your ear and you can go on with your day knowing you’ve been given another chance to get it right. #CassiaLeo # Relentless

The Butterfly Effect

This is one of the really though provoking movies that I have seen in long time. A very interesting concept of traveling in the past to change one unpleasant thing, and consequently, a lot of other things change as well. I often wonder if I could change one thing in the past, then life would be so much better. However, I can't even imagine how this small change could have other consequences and present would have been just so different than what it is.  Also, finding the right point which you want to change so that other important things don't get affected is very important point. In this movie (spoiler alert), Evan purposefully upsets Kayleigh so that she lives with her mother, and so not get affected by her pervert father. Her brother too, therefore has a normal life, and as a group they never commit the dynamite accident or hurt Kayleigh when he grows up, and also makes sure his mother is fine too. Oh, and for the not-so-science lovers, I figured out that the ter
