Buttons & Scissors

It's interesting when you are looking for answers, you'll find them knocking your door in the most unexpected form. I must say the game inspired me, and helped me pacify as I was surrounded by endless questions about future. It taught me to not worry about consequences yet have a small plan for future without losing the focus from present.  When you start with the game, the motive is to draw horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines on same buttons (any number), and a scissor will run over them to clear them out.   While doing this, it may look kind of impossible to get all of them cleared out because the blue ones are really scattered or stuck between yellow ones and there is no way we can get them out anyway. But, if you focus on the ones you are crossing out, and keep in mind that you cannot cross 3 pink buttons and leave 1 pink button alone because you need to have at least pair of 2 to draw a line and cross them out.  Just this small strategy, and ...

SNAKES & LADDERS!

Sudden realisation. Isn't life very much similar to snakes and ladders game? When something good happens, the ladder of success takes us to the top, and in another moment, a snake bite can bring us down - right at square one. But, you never know which phase of life has a snake/ladder waiting for you.. Even when we are happy, there is a fear of the landing up on the block where longest snake is waiting to destroy everything in a moment, and that we will have to start from the scratch! :S We do get up and dream again, even if we just had a major fall. There is chase. A lot of Competition. Of course, peer-pressure too.  But, only limited time! Sigh. I guess this is the beauty of this game.  There is an excitement at every step. A hope as we move from block to block. A prayer for desired number on every roll of dice. Yes, there are snakes. But, there are ladders as well :D
